Step 1: Plan Post Spacing

Before installation, mark the vineyard rows and determine the post positions. Install line posts 4–5 meters apart to provide stable support for grapevine shoots. In areas with strong winds or heavy crop loads, reduce the spacing to increase the overall strength and stability of the trellis structure.

Step 2: Install End and Line Posts

End and corner posts handle higher wire tension, so installers should secure them more firmly than intermediate posts. Drive these posts 15–20 cm deeper than intermediate posts, and install them at a 45°–60° angle or reinforce them with bracing systems when necessary. For line posts, drive them 60–70 cm into the soil to maintain a stable trellis structure.

Step 3: Install Vineyard Wires

After the posts are firmly positioned, install trellis wires through the pre-punched holes or fixing slots. Wire tensioning tools and connectors can be used to keep the wires straight and properly tensioned along the vineyard rows.
